All the voices

Silent whispers of doubt scratch my soul
My hands sweat beads of doubted sanity
All the voices have me losing hope

Shouting with hammered pointed screams
The defiant demons in my marbled head
Ride the waves of sorrowed tomorrows

Trail of tears meet my lips of anguish
Trying so hard for the lights of utopia
Just wanting a scream of release

Quickened Olympic thoughts of calm
The hesitant vice of a twisted promise
They just scream helplessness in unity

Breathing slowly coming together as one
Starting the sunlight passing of confidence
Smile smashes them back down to hell

Belief calmly wraps my skin with warmth
Eyes opened upon a surviving moment
All the voices have gone quiet again
